Dems seek Therapy over Kerry Loss
The degree of depression and anger that some Democrats feel over John Kerry\'s loss is pervasive. This Post Election Selection Depression is by no means relegated to a few.
/Mental Health News Articles/ - The unfortunate suicide of 25 year old Andrew Veal of Georga over Senator John Kerry's loss last weekend illustrates the degree some supporters might go when he took a shotgun blast to the head at Ground Zero in New York City.
Andrew Veal is just one of thousands of supporters, perhaps more who are bitter if not angry with the loss by Senator Kerry to President Buss and are suffering "Post Election Selection Depression (PESD)".
"Post Election Selecton Depression or PESD is like Post Traumatic Stress Disorder only short-term" said Rob Gordon, Executive Director of the American Health Association in Boca Raton, Florida. "PESD is like any other mental health disorder which essentially, left without treatment can lead to catastrophic consequences like the Andrew Veal incident" continued Gordon.
Some of the symptoms of PESD are feeling withdrawn, isolated in one's one skin, emotionally angry and bitter over the Kerry loss, loss of appetite, sleeplessness, nightmare and general pervasion moodiness like endless sulking.
Those Democrats who feel these symptoms of PESD should seek mental health counseling immediately. Those in South Florida should call the American Health Association since PESD support Groups are now forming and are free of charge through the end of the year.
