Practicing Psychologist, Dr. Kenneth L. DeSeve, Helps People; Survey Results Show
Kenneth L. DeSeve is a full time practicing psychologist, who currently practices in Spokane, Washington. Dr. DeSeve earned his B.A. in psychology at Eastern Washington University, and then went on to earn his Ph.D. in clinical psychology at Washington State University.

DeSeve served as a staff psychologist at the Spokane Community Mental Health Center in the chemical dependency unit. In that role, Dr. DeSeve was responsible for both individual and group therapy and also assessment and education of the patients. Dr. Kenneth L. DeSeve then went on to serve at the director of program services, after two years in that role, again at the Spokane Community Mental Health Center. Dr. Kenneth DeSeve performed a variety of tasks in that role, including coordinating the acquisition and implementation of the computerized management information system, which entailed writing the proposal, configuring hardware, selecting software, and developing an MIS team to provide ongoing maintenance. Dr. DeSeve also participated in workshops for "End Users" of various mental health software applications, and evaluated and determined if purchase were appropriate of various mental health software applications. Dr. Kenneth L. DeSeve's other responsibilities included: developing clinical protocols, chairing the multidisciplinary quality assurance committee, coordinating evaluation activities and research for all Center programs, and providing necessary data for grant writing., Dr. DeSeve practiced part time as a Doctor of Psychology while serving as the director of program services which is a much more administrative role than therapy. This enabled Dr. Kenneth DeSeve to help people at the most basic level in local in-patient and out-patient chemical dependency programs.

A client evaluation survey revealed that Dr. Kenneth L. DeSeve's patients thought he rated close to the highest score possible. Dr. DeSeve received over a 3.9 average on a scale of 1 - 4, with 4 representing the highest score. Across the following questions: "if you were to seek help again, would you come back to your therapist?"; "when you talked to your therapist, how closely did he or she listen to you?"; and "have your rights as an individual been respected?" Dr. DeSeve received an average score of 3.96. For competency, Dr. Kenneth L. DeSeve's patients awarded him an average score of 3.93. Dr. DeSeve received the average score of 3.90 for the questions, "if a friend were in need of similar help, would you recommend our services to him or her?" and "how would you rate the quality of the service you have received?"

Based on the high marks on multiple questions, Dr. Kenneth L. DeSeve's patients think he is a more than competent and extremely knowledgeable therapist who provides excellent service and is an empathic listener. Most of Dr. Kenneth L. DeSeve's patients have indicated that they would recommend him as a therapist if they had a friend who needed similar help, as well as returning to see Dr. DeSeve if they needed more therapy.
