With more than seven years of professional clinical experience, Dr. Panova also specializes in clinical hypnosis and holistic therapy. She utilizes a wide range of psychotherapeutic and holistic approaches in the treatment of acute and chronic mental disorders, psychosomatic disorders and other medical conditions. In addition to her work with patients, she is involved in consulting with lawyers, teachers and medical professionals and conducting clinical and forensic psychological assessments. She also has extensive experience working in inpatient psychiatric hospitals, outpatient clinics and therapeutic day schools.

Dr. Panova integrates recent scientific advancements as well as European, American and Asian traditions into her clinical work. She works to improve the quality of psychological services provided in United States and Bulgaria and educate the general public about the nature, etiology and treatment of mental and psychosomatic disorders. A frequent guest on several radio and television programs, approximately 26 of her articles on mental health have been published in international Bulgarian newspapers and online. Her desire to understand human behavior drove her to take up a profession in psychology, and she attributes her success to her personal drive.

A licensed clinical psychologist in the state of Illinois, Dr. Panova received her Doctor of Psychology from Illinois School of Professional Psychology at the Argosy University in 2005 and her Master of Science in Psychology from the University of Sofia in Bulgaria. In her doctoral dissertation, she developed and proposed an intensive integrative treatment for complex trauma and post-traumatic stress disorder. Dr. Panova is affiliated with the American Psychological Association, the Chicago Society of Clinical Hypnosis, and Mensa International. She is the founder and the Director of the International Psychological Services. The IPS was founded with the main goal of promoting more emphatic and effective internationally sound, psychological services to culturally diverse clients.
