With 28 years of professional experience, Ms. Klar's expertise lies in performing play therapy for children who are two years and older. Her responsibilities include performing, marriage, individual and family therapy as well as dealing with women's issues including the spiritual aspects of mental health. In addition, she follows up visits, files insurance claims and counsels at a school 12 hours a week. Ms. Klar has 23 years of experience in play therapy and is registered by the American Association for Play Therapy to train other therapists in play therapy. She considers her hard work, dedication and the training she received to be the driving forces behind her success.

A graduate of Our Lady of the Lake University, Ms. Klar received her Master's Degree in Education (1976) and her Master's Degree in Clinical Counseling (1980). She is the president of the San Antonio Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, a member of the Association for Play Therapy, and a board member of the Madonna Neighborhood Center.
