With four years of professional experience, Dr. Bratlie specializes in diagnosing and treating schizophrenia and mood disorders. She also works at the psychiatric unit of Contra Costa Regional Medical Center, where she treats eight to 12 patients on a daily basis suffering from mental illness. Her experience working in the inpatient unit during her residency and the encouragement she received from her mentor prompted her to become involved in her profession. She considers her ability to maintain a balance between professional and personal life to be the keys to her success.

Dr. Bratlie received her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Touro University College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2004. She is a member of the American Psychiatric Association, the American Osteopathic Association and The Phi Beta Kappa Society.
