Ms. Sheridan has more than 34 years of experience in the healthcare industry. She is a certified drug and alcohol therapist and recently became a board certified supervisor for graduates continuing their education to become licensed clinical social workers. She also works with Native Americans in the area as a tribute to her Omaha Native American ancestry.

Ms. Sheridan holds a Master of Social Work degree, conferred in 1991, and a Bachelor's Degree in Developmental and Child Psychology from Utah State University, conferred in 1974. She volunteers with the Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association and Goodwill Industries International. She attributes her success to her determination and perseverance.
