Boston, MA, March 6, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Samuel Keith Kelley, MD, Medical Director of the Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of child psychiatry.

Dr. Kelley is board certified in psychiatry and has been a practicing psychiatrist for 18 years. He joined the Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children in 1995. Considered an authority in the treatment of children and adolescents with mental health and psychiatric disorders, Dr. Kelley is also the Administrative Medical Director for several non profit agencies and serves as a Medical Director for Magellan Health Services.

In 2006, Dr. Kelley was a candidate for lieutenant governor. He served on the Board of Advisors of the Human Rights project, worked as a legislative aide to Congressman Jim McDermott and worked on the Clinton Healthcare Taskforce. He studied at Murray State University, the University of Louisville School of Medicine and Tufts University. He did his Child and Adolescent psychiatry fellowship at McLean Hospital.
