Carmen L. Crosser, LCSW, LMFT, ACSW, BCD has accumulated 13 years of experience in the mental healthcare industry. Since 2006, she has worked as a family therapist for Life Transitions Counseling, a center offering mental healthcare and therapy services to patients suffering from depression, anxiety, eating disorders, and various other mental health issues. She has conducted research on gender-based constraints and resilience in academically successful adolescent girls. Her primary area of clinical interest is working with adolescent girls and their families.

Ms. Crosser holds a Master's Degree in Social Work from the University of Iowa and a Bachelor of Science in Social Work from Iowa State University. She is a licensed clinical social worker, a licensed marriage and family therapist, and a board certified diplomate in clinical social work. She attributes her success to her work ethic, determination, ambition and the support she receives from her family.

Ms. Crosser is a clinical member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. She also participates in memberships with the National Association of Social Workers, the Academy of Certified Social Workers, the American Family Therapy Academy, the American Board of Examiners in Clinical Social Work, the American Psychological Association, the Illinois Society for Clinical Social Work, the National Federation of Societies for Clinical Social Work, and the International Association of Marriage and Family Counselors. She is completing a Doctorate at the School of Social Service Administration at the University of Chicago.
