Behavioral Health Specialist Henry E. Bennett honored for providing mental healthcare services

RIVERSIDE, CA, September 17, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Henry E. Bennett, Behavioral Health Specialist for the Department of Mental Health, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of mental healthcare.

With an impressive professional background that spans 38 years, Henry E. Bennett specializes in the provision of mental healthcare services and substance abuse treatment. As a behavioral health specialist for the Department of Mental Health, he is responsible for working alongside the court system to treat drug addicts and mentally disturbed inmates. With a goal to help offenders function normally in society, Mr. Bennett works tirelessly to counsel individuals and place them in appropriate treatment programs.

A former police officer, Mr. Bennett considers helping troubled individuals regain quality of life to be especially rewarding. He attributes his success to hard work, dedication and faith in God, and intends to become more actively involved with local community services in the coming years.

Mr. Bennett holds a master of science in psychology and chemical dependency counseling from National University and an associate degree in political science from AmeriCoast Community College. He holds Ph.D. equivalency in psychology from the United States Army Medical Center and a bachelor's degree in behavioral science from National University. His professional affiliations include the American Counseling Association and the American Forensic Association. Mr. Bennett is also an educational advisor for the Young Men's Group and is an active supporter of the Church of the Lion of Judah, the Masonic Temple, the American Legion and the Cross Word Christian Church.
