Lanie Lipson counsels others in order to make the world a better place for her children to live in

WASHINGTON, MD, September 4, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Lanie Lipson, Owner of the Lipson Counseling Center, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in counseling.

As a the owner of the Lipson Counseling Center, Lanie Lipson is responsible for managing a private practice, counseling patients with anxiety, family issues and problems. Lipson Counseling Center is a private practice that provides counseling and therapy. Prior to joining Lipson Counseling Center, she worked as the Clinical Director for the American Day Treatment Center and as the Director of Social Services for the New Mexico State Hospital. She became involved in her profession because she was influenced by her family members, and she attributes her success to her desire to excel and provide a better life for her children.

Ms. Lipson received her Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of Maryland. She is a member of Association for Humanistic Psychology, the American Psychological Association, and the National Association of Social Workers. Ms. Lipson is involved with organizations that promote a healthy environment, uphold people's legal rights, and protect animals.
