Dr. Noreen A. Bumby has been recognized by Stanford Who's Who for her incredible work in the Healthcare Industry.

PALM DESERT, CA, January 1, 2010 /Stanford Who's Who/ -- Dr. Noreen A. Bumby has been recognized by Stanford Who's Who for her incredible work in the Healthcare Industry. As the Owner of Mental Fitness Institute, with over 30 years of experience in the field of Psychiatry, she has routinely exhibited the supreme level of dedication and knowledge necessary to be successful in her field.

Dr. Bumby began working in the field of psychiatry in Philadelphia in the 1970's. She relocated to Southern California in the 1980's to be closer to her mother, and soon began building her well-known practice. Among the numerous contributions she has made to the field was working with other professionals to develop treatments for chemical dependency, mental illness and dementia.

Displaying her extreme dedication to those with chemical dependency and mental health issues, Dr. Bumby has consistently responded to crisis during times when many Psychiatrists would not return a phone call. She also supervises Health and Human Service Workers as she is a teacher among teachers, educating and guiding others through the many different disorders and their appropriate treatment procedures.

The Mental Fitness Institute offers Mental Illness diagnosis and treatment procedures, treatment of co-occurring disorders, anxiety and panic, drug and alcohol counseling, interventions, geriatric mental illness and substance abuse counseling, medication monitoring, medication management and referrals for higher levels of care as well as regular follow-up and support.

Dr. Bumby earned a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Degree at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.
