Ida Appiah-Agyei to Be Profiled in Exclusive Registry
Ida Appiah-Agyei is pursuing a certification as an adult nurse practitioner

COLUMBUS, OH, January 13, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Ida Appiah-Agyei, Registered Nurse for North Central Mental Health Services, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in nursing.

Prompted to enter her profession by the desire to advocate for the rights of low-income communities, Ms. Appiah-Agyei has two years of experience in her field. In her current position, she is responsible for assessing outpatient health and offering counseling services. She conducts patient interviews, reviews prescribed medications and adjusts dosages. She attributes her success to her faith in God, and the support she receives from her family and friends.

Ms. Appiah-Agyei is pursuing a Master's Degree in Nursing at The Ohio State University; she will be certified as an adult nurse practitioner. A registered nurse, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Movement and Sports Science from Purdue University. Ms. Appiah-Agyei is a member of the American Nurses Association and supporter of the American Diabetes Association. In the future, she hopes to own her own practice and provide diabetic management services to low-income communities.
