Dr. Charlotte Maricia Staggs Inducted into Cambridge Who's Who
Dr. Staggs has more than 30 years experience in counseling and education

CENTERVILLE, TN, October 27, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Dr. Charlotte Maricia Staggs has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in the field of counseling.

Dr. Staggs has more than 30 years experience in counseling and education, including public education, community mental health counseling, and higher education. She recently opened her own practice, Reflections Counseling, PLLC, where she manages all aspects of the business including client counseling, public relations, and administrative services. She became involved in her profession because she was a teacher in a junior high school for 10 years and decided to have a change in her career. She attributes her success to her ability to stay focused. Dr. Staggs has experience in program coordination, geriatric services, and community mental health counseling.

She received her Doctor of Education in Human Development Counseling from Vanderbilt University in 1988 and her license in Professional Counseling and Mental Health Services in 1991. She is a member of the Hickman County Democratic Party Executive Committee and a member of the Hickman County Chamber of Commerce, the Tennessee Education Association and the National Education Association, the Tennessee Federation of Democratic Women, the American Counseling Association, and the National Education Association. She is a board member of Hickman Humane Society, Inc., serving as secretary for four years, as well as former board member and secretary of the board for Women Are Safe, Inc., domestic violence program.
