Dr. Kathleen A. Hughes-Kuda Inducted into Cambridge Who's Who
Dr. Kathleen A. Hughes-Kuda's passion for working with children and families in Southern Oregon enables her to thrive as a child psychiatrist for the Southern Oregon Adolescent Study and Treatment Center.

GOLD HILL, OR, October 4, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Dr. Kathleen A. Hughes-Kuda, Medical Director for the Southern Oregon Adolescent Study and Treatment Center, has been recognized by Cambridge's Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership, and excellence in trauma work.

As medical director for SOASTC, Dr. Kathleen A. Hughes-Kuda is responsible for providing this organization with psychiatric assessments/evaluations for clients in the organization's 2 residential programs, 2 school-based day treatment programs, a therapeutic foster care program, as well as an outpatient practice. Her duties include ongoing medication management, individual and family therapy, treatment planning, as well as supervision of clinical staff. She greatly enjoys teaching and sharing clinical experience. It is her belief that this work is an investment in the future of our communities.

Dr. Hughes-Kuda completed her post-doctoral fellowship in Sexual Assault Research and Anxiety Disorders Research in 1991 at the National Crime Victims' Center in Charleston, South Carolina after completing her general psychiatry residency in 1987 and her child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship in 1989 at the Medical University of South Carolina. She received her MD from the University of Wisconsin in 1984 and is board-certified in general psychiatry, child and adolescent psychiatry, and forensic psychiatry.
