Harry B. Montoya Honored for Accomplishments in Social Services
Harry B. Montoya works to fight alcohol, tobacco and drug abuse issues prevalent in local New Mexico communities

ESPANOLA, NM, October 26, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Harry B. Montoya, Founder and Chief Executive Officer for the Hands Across Cultures, Corp., has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in intercultural social services.

In 1992, Mr. Montoya formed the Hands Across Cultures, Corp. in order to address the high rates of families and youth battling alcohol, tobacco and drug abuse issues. As the nonprofit organization's CEO, he manages operations, budgets, fundraising and grants. In the past, Mr. Montoya served as a Santa Fe County commissioner. For over 20 years, he has been active in community mobilization and cultural education. He attributes his success to hard work and perseverance.

A graduate of New Mexico State University, Mr. Montoya received a master's degree in counseling psychology. He is a member of the New Mexico Prevention Network, the New Mexico Association of Counties and the National Association of Counties. In the future, he hopes to work in a position that offers him opportunities for continued contribution to his industry.
