Amanda Szatkowski Recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for Excellence in Behavioral Therapy
Amanda Szatkowski is a tireless advocate for individuals with special needs
NEOGA, IL, November 24, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Amanda Szatkowski, Licensed Learning Behavior Specialist I, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in behavioral therapy.
Amanda Szatkowski has four years of experience as a Licensed Learning Behavior Specialist I. Applying her expertise in behavioral therapy, she treats individuals with oppositional defiant and emotional behavioral disorders, and works with students diagnosed with learning disabilities. Ms. Szatkowski, who attributes her success to determination, became involved in her profession because of her experiences with her own special-needs sister, which motivated her to become an advocate and learn more about special education.
Ms. Szatkowski aspires to one day become a principal or superintendent. She is currently pursuing a master's degree in education administration at Eastern Illinois University. In 2009, she received a bachelor's degree in special education from Eastern Illinois University, with honors. She is a member of the Council for Exceptional Children, the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development, and the Sigma Rho Epsilon Alpha Chapter.
