Dr. Joyce P. Buckner Inducted into Cambridge Who's Who
Dr. Joyce P. Buckner celebrates 35 years in counseling

ARLINGTON, TX, November 18, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Joyce P. Buckner, Clinical Psychologist for the Southwest Institute for Relational Development, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in relationship counseling.

With 35 years of experience as a clinical psychologist for the Southwest Institute for Relational Development, Dr. Buckner has honed her knowledge of relationship counseling. In her position, she oversees the daily operations of the institute, as well as works with couples and individuals. She became involved in her profession because of her awareness of the major impact of intimate relationships. She has written and published the book titled, "Making Real Love Happen: The New ERA of Intimacy."

Dr. Buckner holds a Ph.D. from North Texas State University (now The University of North Texas). She is a former professor and chairwoman of the department of education at the University of Texas. She is affiliated with the Fort Worth Area Psychological Association, the American Psychological Association and the International Association of Imago Relationship Therapy.
