John Butler Named to Exclusive Membership Organization
John Butler celebrates 20 years in the health care industry
BEDFORDSHIRE, UNITED KINGDOM, November 1, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- John Butler, Mental Health Nurse Consultant for South Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in nursing.
Having worked as a mental health nurse for over 20 years and as a nurse consultant for 6 years, Mr Butler is recognised for his specialist education and practice role in mental health interventions. His knowledge and experience has enabled him to progress to acquire a leadership role. In his position, he manages a small practice development team, facilitates/contributes to a variety of accredited university course programmes, and works to advance clinical practice in mental health.
Good fortune and hard work have given Mr Butler the opportunity to succeed within the health care industry. He became involved in his profession after a family member was diagnosed with a mental health disorder. This influenced him to want to make a difference and treat every patient vigilantly.
A member of the BABCP and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, Mr Butler received a Postgraduate Diploma in Higher Education (Lecturing) from the University of Greenwich in 2004, a Master of Science in Mental Health from the University of London in 1995, and a Bachelor of Science (Joint Honours) in Psychology and Zoology from the University of Durham in 1984.
