CORSICANA, TX, November 18, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Shanda W. Vance, Animal Behaviorist, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in pet training.

With seven years of professional experience, Ms. Vance has developed a deep knowledge of canine aggression. In her current position, she trains and consults on dogs and cats on a freelance basis. Ms. Vance teaches basic obedience classes, as well as instructs private sessions to fix the poor behaviors of animals. She also works with veterinarians, animal shelters and her local animal control agency. She was previously in the health care industry for 10 years, most recently as an admissions coordinator for inpatient rehabilitation.

In 2008, Ms. Vance earned a Master of Science in animal psychology from Breyer State University, following her graduation from Texas Agriculture and Mechanical University with a bachelor's degree in psychology. She is a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers, Psi Beta and the International Association of Canine Professionals. Ms. Vance is a supporter of the Humane Society of Navarro County and Project Pawz. Ms. Vance's aim is to grow her business and earn certifications as a pet dog trainer and animal behaviorist.
