Judith L. Cameron Excels in Treating People who Struggle with Fear, Anxiety and Post-Traumatic Stress

Cameron, Owner, Therapist and Instructor of Cosmic Angel Hypnotherapy and Healing, has been named Cambridge Who's Who Professional of the Year in Alternative Medicine. While inclusion in the Cambridge Who's Who Registry is an honor, only a small selection of members in each discipline are chosen for this distinction. These special
honorees are distinguished based on their professional accomplishments, academic
achievements, leadership abilities, years of service, and the credentials they have provided
in association with their Cambridge Who's Who membership.

With 22 years of professional experience, Judith L. Cameron excels in working with people who struggle with fear, anxiety and post-traumatic stress. As the head of Cosmic Angel Hypnotherapy and Healing, she treats adults and students for test and stress anxiety, and helps patients suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder. She also trains people in stress management and conducts classes at the International Hypnosis Federation. Dr. Cameron also runs the Close Encounter Therapy Institute, which is dedicated to assisting those who have experienced close encounters and also to disseminate information and hold workshops regarding close encounters. Before establishing Cosmic Angel, Dr. Cameron taught psychology and child development at the high school and college levels for 40 years.

Always fascinated by paranormal phenomena, Dr. Cameron is known particularly as an authority on helping people understand extraterrestrial encounters and alien abductions. She is a former International Faculty member of NASA's Teacher-in-Space Program and as such, conducted teacher workshops through NASA and the Challenger Center and sometimes worked as a team member with an astronaut to instruct teachers about space. In 1994, she was one of three educators in the United States invited to the White House to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Apollo 11. "It was an amazing time," she says. "I met President and Mrs. Clinton and the three Apollo astronauts [Neil Armstrong, Mike Collins, and Buzz Aldrin] as well as other respected astronauts and scientists."

Dr. Cameron completed her Ph.D. in Parapsychology in 2005 at St. John's University and her Ph.D. in Clinical Hypnotherapy in 1987 at the American Institute of Hypnotherapy. A certified teacher, she also earned a Master of Science in Elementary and Special Education, and several administrative credentials from the State of California. Her professional affiliations include The American Board of Hypnotherapy, the Mutual UFO Network, the Center for the Study of Extraterrestrial Intelligence, the International Hypnosis Federation, the Academy of Clinical Close Encounter Therapists, and The International Association of Clinical Hypnotherapists. In her spare time, Dr. Cameron works with the local homeless population and has read to children and the elderly in the public library. She plans to expand the services offered by Cosmic Angel to include hypnotherapy, Reiki, massage, and yoga. She is currently writing three books and hopes to have at least one published by the end of the year.
