Mina Ann Dickson rose close to $80,000 for scholarship funds at the Rotary Club

FLORENCE, OR, December 15, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Mina Ann Dickson, Counselor, Psychological Therapist and Licensed Marriage Family Therapist at Mina Dickson Professional Counseling Services, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in therapy.

With 27 years of professional experience, Ms. Dickson attributes her success to her parents, especially the strength that she was able to get from her father. For 13 years, she was a children's social worker administrator in Los Angeles County, California. At her current post, she is responsible for servicing employee assistance programs, local hospitals and counties and treating people of all ages with mental health and personality disorders, addictions, relationship issues, diseases or learning disabilities. She previously worked as a middle school and college teacher, and has also founded a nonprofit organization for single woman.

Ms. Dickson is certified in mediation, child custody and divorce. In 1983, she received a Master of Science in guidance and counseling, magna cum laude, from California Lutheran University. She is a member of Delta Kappa Gamma, Alpha Chi Omega, the International Women's Educator Organization Group, the American Counseling Association and the Siuslaw Area Partnership for the Prevention of Substance Abuse.
