With 18 years of experience in her field, Jacqueline Darmont is a noted expert in psychotherapy and child and adult psychology. She has spent most of her career in private practice, rendering services to adults, children, couples and families, and performing comprehensive assessments of children. In addition to practicing psychotherapy, Ms. Darmont develops social skills curricula and organizes school programs that encompass prevention, inclusion values and discipline. She became a board certified professional through the American Psychotherapy Association.

Educated in Venezuela, Ms. Darmont graduated summa cum laude from Hospital Universitario de Caracas with a master of science in clinical psychology. Always an exemplary student, she won a scholarship from the Ayacucho Foundation to fund her graduate studies and a scholarship from Procter & Gamble to study psychology at Universidad Catolica Andres Bello-Caracas, where she finished at the top of her class. Ms. Darmont is affiliated with the Association for Assessment in Counseling and Education, the American Counseling Association, the American School Counselor Association and the American Psychotherapy Association. She names the Karen Hayesod Foundation as her favorite charity.

An avid and bemedaled athlete, Ms. Darmont enjoys playing tennis in her free time.
