Rhonda Burbank Honored by Cambridge Who's Who for Excellence in Community Service
Rhonda Burbank is dedicated to helping the elderly in her community

EUGENE, OR, May 24, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Rhonda Burbank, Director of Social Services for Green Valley Rehabilitation Health Center, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in community service.

Motivated by a desire to help the elderly in her community, Rhonda Burbank joined Green Valley Rehabilitation Health Center in 2008. As social services director, she employs her vaunted communication skills in performing a range of healthcare and administrative functions. These include overseeing admissions and discharges, treating behavioral problems, liaising between family, staff and residents, providing community resources and referrals and handling concerns raised by residents or their families.

Ms. Burbank is pursuing her bachelor of arts in social science. She is a member of the Oregon Long Term Care Social Work Association, National Association of Professional Women and was honored with induction as a Kentucky Colonel. She names Gideons International as her favorite charity. In five years, Ms. Burbank hopes to complete her master's degree and venture into consulting.
