Laurie S. Floren Joins the Ranks of Leading Professionals
Laurie S. Floren celebrates 22 years as a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist


EL CAJON, CA, June 15, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Laurie S. Floren, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in individual, couples, and grief counseling.

With 22 years of experience as a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist managing her practice, Laurie Floren has also served 3 1/2 years as a Children's Pastor, 4 years as an Adjunct Professor and 9 years as an Assistant Professor of Psychology at San Diego Christian College, and recently mentored a middle school teacher and led a discussion group for eighth-grade girls transitioning from middle to high school. She became involved in her profession because, while working as a Special Education Specialist teaching 4th - 6th grade students, she recognized the impact of emotional and relational issues on students' academic performance and subsequently pursued the education to become a Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT). She attributes her success to her God-given gifts and His presence in the process. "I feel like I have a front-row seat to watch miracles," she said.
