Naketa L. Young Joins the Ranks of Leading Professionals
Naketa L. Young celebrates three years as a therapist for St. Joseph Carmelite Home for Girls


CROWN POINT, IN, June 11, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Naketa L. Young, Therapist for St. Joseph Carmelite Home for Girls, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in mental health counseling.

With three years of experience as a therapist for St. Joseph Carmelite Home for Girls, Naketa L. Young is responsible for managing emergency placement for children, counseling children, creating treatment plans, and developing, implementing and revising policies and procedures. She became involved in her profession because she always wanted to help people, and she attributes her success to her passion for her profession as well as her belief that it is her calling.

Ms. Young is pursuing her Doctoral Degree at Walden University, she received her Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling and Counseling Psychology from Indiana State University in 2006. She is a member of the American Psychological Association, and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Ms. Young received an award from her community in the city of Hammond, IN for over 1500 hours of community service in soup kitchens and for volunteering with various missions.
