With five years of professional experience, Ms. Giarrusso attributes her success to her self-confidence and caring nature. As a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, she is responsible for assessing, diagnosing and treating patients, and assisting adults and adolescents to overcome their psychological issues. Having suffered from severe depression for 15 years, she is able to help others with mental illness, and has a more unique understanding of her patients.

Ms. Giarrusso received her Master of Arts in Italian Studies from Middlebury College. She received her Master of Science in Nursing and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing, from Columbia University, and her Bachelor of Arts in Italian and Renaissance Studies from Brown University. She is a member of the International Society of Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurses, Sigma Theta Tau International and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
