Deanna M. Brasseur created The One in A Million Fund to provide revenue designated to support research, education, training and support for families suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
OTTAWA, ON CANADA, July 13, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Deanna M. Brasseur, President of Supersonix Unlimited Inc., has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in personal performance.
As the president of Supersonix Unlimited Inc. she is responsible for product development, promotion, sales and creation of The One in A Million Fund. The fund was established to provide revenue designated to support research, education, training and support for families suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
An expert in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), she delivers motivational keynote presentations, seminars and trainings to a variety of national and international organizations. She attributes her success to her drive and willpower.
Formerly, Ms. Brasseur served as one of the first female pilots in the Canadian Armed Forces. She was also one of the first two women in the world to fly the sophisticated CF18 Hornet jet fighter aircraft. For her pioneering efforts in the field of aviation she was inducted into the 99's International Forest of Friendship, the Women in Aviation International Pioneer Hall of Fame and invested as a Member of the Order of Canada.
Ms. Brasseur is a member of the American Board of Neuro Linguistic Programming, the Canadian Association of Neuro Linguistic Programming, the Afghan Hound Club of Canada and enjoys working as a therapy dog team trainer with the Ottawa Therapy Dog Association.
Supersonix Unlimited Inc. was created to establish The One in a Million Fund, a donor-advised revenue fund established under the management of the Community Foundation of Ottawa. In the future, Ms. Brasseur intends the revenue generated by the fund will establish a Post Traumatic Stress Disorder center of excellence in Ottawa to further research and treatment in the field.
