WEST SUFFIELD, CT, July 23, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Dr. Kristina M. Hallett, Director of Psychology Internship Training at River Valley Services, Connecticut, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in mental healthcare and doctoral training.

Director of Psychology Internship Training at River Valley Services in Connecticut, Dr. Hallett specializes in clinical psychology. Her responsibilities entail overseeing the psychology internship training program, reviewing and evaluating student performance, ensuring compliance within state guidelines and maintaining site accreditation. She is also an accreditation site visitor for the American Psychological Association.

Dr. Hallett received her Bachelor of Science with a double-major in Biology and Psychology, from Wellesley College in 1984. She went on to obtain her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 1993. Thereafter, she was the Director of Children's Services at Providence Behavioral Health Hospital. She then moved to a position as the head of mental health services for a male prison in Connecticut. In 1997, she established her own private practice, which is flourishing. She attributes her successes to her sincerity, genuine nature and passion for her profession.
