NEW LONDON, MN, July 06, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Gary M. Green, Treatment Director at Woodland Centers, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in his career.
With 15 years of professional experience, Mr. Green attributes his success to his belief in a higher power. As a treatment director at Woodland Centers, he is responsible for supervising staff members, managing administration and behavioral health recovery, and authorizing purchase requisitions. He also oversees marketing, licensing and residential treatment for adults with chemical dependency and groups on mindfulness practices. Prior to his current position, he worked as a director for the St. Francis Halfway House.
After his own recovery from depression and alcohol, Mr. Green went into the mental healthcare field. He has written a book titled, "In Pursuant of Joy." A board member of the Minnesota Association of Mental Health Residential Facilities, he received his Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from St. Cloud State University.
