CALHOUN, GA, July 01, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Shawn E. Haggard, Owner and Therapist for New Heights Counseling, LLC, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in trauma care and counseling.

At New Heights Counseling, LLC, Ms. Haggard oversees business operations and administration. She meets with clients struggling with trauma and stress disorders; she analyses issues, resolves problems and prepares paperwork. Ms. Haggard also uses a sliding scale for patients who cannot afford treatment. In addition to her current position, she works as an independent contractor. With six years of professional experience, she attributes her success to her ability to relate to her clients.

In 2008, Ms. Haggard received a Master of Social Work from Kennesaw State University. Pursuing a licensed clinical social worker designation, she is licensed as a master social worker by the state of Georgia. She is a member of the National Association of Social Workers and supports the Boys & Girls Clubs of America. In the future, Ms. Haggard hopes to pursue a doctorate and establish another counseling center.
