Jamie Lee Jacobs celebrates over 10 years as a consultant

Pasadena, CA, August 27, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ --Jamie Lee Jacobs, M.S.Ed., LPC, Mental Health Practitioner/Consultant of Counseling Cottage, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in mental health counseling.

With 13 years of professional experience, Ms. Jacobs is the sole owner and operator of Counseling Cottage, a private practice providing mental health and contracting services. Utilizing her expertise in mental health, and drug and alcohol counseling, she consults others. She is a member of the Georgia College Counseling Association and the American Counseling Association. In her spare time, she volunteers at local homeless shelters and for Goodwill Industries International. She attributes her success to her life experiences and caring nature towards others.

Ms. Jacobs received her Master of Science in Education, with a concentration in Community Counseling, from the University of Nebraska at Kearney in 1999. She has also completed many certifications, which are applied to enhancing her clientele. Starting her counseling carrier in Nebraska 10 years ago, she relocated to Georgia a year ago. Currently, she is a military family life consultant, in which she travels to different military bases around the world for about six to eight weeks at a time to conduct family counseling. In the future, she intends to establish another private practice and would like to buy a home.
