Margaret E. Jordan Inducted into Cambridge Who's Who
Margaret E. Jordan is a member of the Oregon Coalition Against Domestic and Sexual Violence
GRANTS PASS, OR, August 18, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Margaret E. Jordan, Retired Director of Victim Services for Community Works, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in counseling.
At Community Works, Ms. Jordan directed programs for domestic violence and sexual assault victims in Jackson County. For six years, she was responsible for overseeing service administration. Prior to this position, Ms. Jordan spent seven years employed by Family Friends, counseling abuse victims. She attributes her success to her education.
A licensed clinical social worker, Ms. Jordan is the recipient of a Master of Social Work and a Master's Degree in Counseling. She is a member of the Oregon Coalition Against Domestic and Sexual Violence and the Oregon chapter of the National Association of Social Workers. A volunteer for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Ms. Jordan has served as a conference speaker. In the future, she hopes to venture into private counseling.
