Carmen L. Crosser has accumulated 14 years of experience in the mental healthcare industry. Since 2006, she has worked as a family therapist for Life Transitions Counseling, a center offering mental healthcare and therapy services to patients suffering from depression, anxiety, eating disorders, and various other mental health issues. She has conducted research on gender-based constraints and resilience in academically successful adolescent girls. Her primary area of clinical interest is working with adolescent girls and their families.

Ms. Crosser holds a master's degree in social work from the University of Iowa and a bachelor of science in social work from Iowa State University. She is a licensed clinical social worker, a licensed marriage and family therapist, and a board certified diplomate in clinical social work.
