Donna C. Claybrook Honored for Excellence in Mental Health Care
Donna Claybrook specializes in helping young adults recover from drug use

VERNON, TEXAS, May 26, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Donna C. Claybrook, Mental Health Worker for North Texas State Hospital Vernon Campus, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in mental health care.

A former State of Texas Aide of the Year, Ms. Claybrook has devoted the last 14 years to helping young adults recover from drug use. She works mostly with individuals aged 13 through 18, guiding them in their efforts to quit drugs, listening to their problems, and taking them to the gym, school and other places where they can achieve a sense of normalcy. Ms. Claybrook's expertise in mental health care was honed by her previous16 years in the field of special education.

Ms. Claybrook has been recognized by North Texas State Hospital with a Top Hat Award and was recently inducted into Cambridge Who's Who as a VIP member. An avid bowler, she has also won the state bowling championship. She attributes her success to the inspiration she receives from her family, particularly her grandchildren, children and her parents Ben and Gladys Schreiner. She looks forward to enjoying retirement within the next five years.
