Starr Shephard shares her inspirational experiences as an athlete and mentor

HOUSTON, TX, May 12, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ --Starr S. Shephard, International Inspirational Speaker, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in public speaking.

Focused and committed to doing her best, Ms. Shephard celebrates her 22nd year as an international inspirational speaker. Operating through the aptly named company, Global Success, she engages in public speaking events six times a month and holds seminars to share her experiences as an accomplished athlete and mentor. She is also a writer and recently published "The Beautiful You," a book that educates individuals on nutrition and fitness training.

Ms. Shephard earned a Master of Science in clinical marriage and family therapy from Our Lady of the Lake University. She belongs to the American Psychological Association and serves as a facilitator for The Demartini Institute. Additionally, she supports a number of nonprofit organizations, including the Houston Children's Charity, Houston Women's League, and The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. With continuing support from her parents, Ms. Shephard intends to keep empowering the people around her, and she looks forward to speaking on the topic of feminine financial wisdom.
