A licensed clinical social working practicing in New York City since 1985, Mr. Cope has developed a high degree of compassion for those he works with as well as learning how to be a helpful listener. He can quickly develop a trusting relationship with people in order to conduct therapeutic work. Backed by a foundation of 11 years of mental health experience at New York Hospital, Cornell Medical, Payne Whitney Psychiatric Clinic, extensive Employee Assistance Program consultation, Step-Family Foundation Training, Couples Therapy Workshop experience, Director of Alcohol and Substance Abuse Program for H.I.P. in the Bronx, and 25 years of therapist training and supervision; he now exercises his talents through a private psychotherapy practice.
