As a Psychotherapist running her own private counseling practice, as well as throughout her brilliant professional career, Cynthia has consistently demonstrated the vision, dedication and diligence necessary to be considered among the best.

Cynthia has over 30 years of experience providing therapy to clients of all ages. She provides clients with counseling for a variety of issues and mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, addiction, chronic pain, impulse control disorders, mood disorders, and obesity. She has worked in both in-patient and out-patient settings.

Cynthia was one of the founders of and worked at The Weight Management Center for 10 years performing evaluations and providing therapy for thousands of clients suffering from weight and body image issues. She began her professional career as a teacher and greatly enjoys working with adolescents and young adults trying to find their way. In addition, Cynthia has worked as an adjunct professor at Tulane's School of Social Work.

During her collegiate career, Cynthia earned a Master's degree in Social Work from the Catholic University of America. She has presented at national conferences on Family and Women's Issues as well as Eating Disorders. Cynthia has also received training with the pioneers of the Family Therapy Movement in Washington, D.C. and with Masters and Johnson.
