Peggy Jo Hamm Recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for Excellence in Social Services
Ms. Hamm was responsible for conducting disability evaluations

CITRUS HEIGHTS, CA, September 12, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Peggy Jo Hamm, Retired Supervisor for the Disability Evaluation Department of the California Department of Social Services, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in her career. She has been named a Professional of the Year for 2011-2012 and selected for inclusion in Cambridge Publishing's Calendar Series.

With 31 years of experience as a supervisor in the California Department of Social Services prior to her retirement, Ms. Hamm was responsible for conducting disability evaluations as well as medical and psychological evaluations of employees who claimed physical or mental disabilities. She became involved in her profession after gaining experience working for the California Department of Rehabilitation.

Ms. Hamm received a master's degree in rehabilitation from The University of Arizona in 1968 and a Bachelor of Science in physical education from San Diego State University in 1963. The first member of her family to attend college, she attributes her success to her education and to having been raised to always do a thorough and complete job.
